RH negative - D&C

Hi all,

this is my first post here. Need any advise help i can get.

I'm O negative. I had a D&C 6yrs back and i did not know about Rh- thing. Doctors didn't advice me as well.

Exactly at 4weeks1day i had my d&c. As per doctors advise everything went on well. Doc advised they gave me an injection to avoid future complications. I have no clue if its Rhogram.

However, i came across some articles that Rhogram shots will be given only after 8weeks of pregnancy. But there are also articles stating that if D&C is done there should always be Rhogram given.

any ideas or experiences.

the shot she have you most likely was rhogam as they give it to all RH negative women after a D&C just in case. I got one as well. However I would call your doctor to pull up those records and double check.
