Hi everyone,
I used to be really passionate about music and going to gigs, but over the past few years, I've gotten completely out of touch and I don't know what I like anymore!
I'd really like to get into some bands/artists that I've not heard of before (I've recently discovered Rob Zombie! Lol). Can anyone recommend anyone else for me to check out?
I love guitar music - my favourite bands are/have been...

Mansun
Blur
Placebo
Supergrass
Radiohead (pre-'OK computer')
Manic St Preachers
Marilyn Manson (especially Mechanical Animals)
David Bowie
Linkin Park
Limp Bizkit
Queens of the Stone Age
Muse (early stuff)
King Adora

I've probably missed loads out, but can any of you lovely ladies re-ignite my passion?! Ha ha :)

Thanks so much xx

Oh alice you have opened a can of worms there...im supposed to be going to bed but screamager caught my eye and i can feel myself wandering off to youtube

I can't really do Nightwish with Anette she just doesnt do it for me i kinda went off them when they took her on :nope: although i do like Amaranth

That list takes me back though :happydance:

xJG30 The only one i heard of Transplants was diamonds and guns which i love :happydance:

Oh Mansun, that takes me back to my youth!

I'm not into hard rock, I was a huge Stereophonics fan, lost count of the amount times I've seen them but not really bothered with them for a while although I have alot of their old albums on my ipod, Performance and Cocktails is such a great album! My current love is Muse although I prefer their older stuff, Ruled by Secrecy is my fav song of all time, not just from Muse, always makes the hairs on my body stand up. When I listen to the charts now and it's so commercial and sounds the same, so depressing and unoriginal.

agreed I feel the same. Tarja's voice really made Nightwish. I saw them live back in 2005 a few months before she left and I'm so glad I got to see them when they were at their best. I am not fond of new Nightwish either but Amaranth is one exception lol.
