Yup, Rocks.

When a child likes to suck on rocks could this be a sign they are missing something from their diet?

My one year old puts everything in her mouth. Her iron is fine though. She just likes putting things in her mouth.

It gets exhausting and the main reason I quit beimg paranoid about germs. Because she puts everything in her mouth in every little second no matter where we go.

I'm hoping that's what it is. He stopped putting stuff in his mouth a little after 1 but recently when I take him to the park he shoves a punch of pebbles in his mouth, his grandma had suggested it might be a sign of a deficiency which of course made me worry, lol

I crave pumice stone/charcoal when I'm low on iron (don't actually eat it though lol) so it could be worth checking it out, I wouldn't worry too much though he could just like rocks xD

He cracks me up, "Aiden what's in your mouth?" *open* *millions of itsy bitsy pebbles come raining out* "Aiden! Don't eat rocks, I have food in the stroller if you're hungry" *weird looks by neighboring parents commence*
