my lo hasworked out how to roll from ihs back onto his tummy, he has started to do it when being put down for naps in his cot, and screams cos he cant get back onto his back. isthere anything i can do to stop him rolling or helphim learn to get back???

Hi hun. It's a phase & he will grow out of it. Mine did it for some time then he decided he prefer to sleep on his tummy. If u'r worried, u can get one of those support pillows that keep babies frm rolling over. Or u can roll some towels & tuck them under the bedsheet to restrict his movement xx

Its just part of the learning process. Pretty soon he'll be able to roll both ways. It just takes practice, and since he is probably on his back more, he learned that first. Not much you can do except maybe give more tummy time during the day so he has more chances to practice. Do it for short periods, but several times a day - thats what I'm doing. Mine is going through the same thing right now. I keep him in bed with me though - so at night when it happens I just roll him back... but most of the night he is on his side nursing anyways.

thanks, not so much worried, its more annoying, cos he woke early this morning, screaming cos he was stuck\!!!!
