Romantic Dinner ideas please

Hi,

It's our first wedding anniversary late August so I'm going to cook something special too.

I'm thinking homemade garlic mushrooms or nachos (tortilla chips, salsa, jalepeno's, cheese put in oven until cheese melted then put a little sour cream over the top) as a starter.

Steak for the main

and something yummy like homemade cheesecake or homemade strawberry pavlova for dessert.

What's his favourite foods?

Summer in Winter Chicken.

My DP did this for me once and it is now one of my favourites!! So easy and really yummy!!!!

Go for something tapas style, lots of little dishes many of which can be prepped ahead of time and things like olives, hummus and pitta need no prep what so ever - so you're not stressing in the kitchen.

Having lots of little dishes to dip into and share is fun and can be quite sexy too!

Or if he's more of a MAN food kinda guy check out the recipes here...cowboy food is ALL man! LOL

what about wheaten bread with prawns and marie rose sauce for starters,

chicken with cashew nuts for mains,

and a melody of mini desserts including jelly sayin as he loves triffle ( i also dislike triffle)

do something with the least dishes so the romantic meal wont be followed by loads of washing up :)

if you dont like normal triffel, do you like chocolate triffel? as i hate the normal, but the chocolate one is lush!!

xoxo
