I woke an just kind of knew I was having contractions very mild ones lay in bed for a while then got up to go to the loo, looked at the clock an it was couple minutes to 5. Took my mob back to bed because I had my contraction app an thought I'd see how it worked actually timing real contractions!*
About 7:00*OH woke up an asked was I ok cause I was awake an messing with my phone, an I told him yea just timing contractions.*
Well we both managed to fall back to sleep an woke when wee lady woke for her breakfast. I lay In bed for a while because I thought everything had stopped then I got a contraction but was abit more painful.
OH went an got my last few bits for my bag an sorted Evas clothes etc while I washed an got Evas breakfast ready.*
Around 10ish I started to time contractions which where 6mins apart. By this stage everything was ready to go when I was ready to go to the hospital, but was getting abit bored so, mentioned to OH about going for a walk to see the foals popped Eva in her pram an went walking actually eased the contraction pain abit.*
At 2.27pm*Each contraction lasting about 40-50 seconds an was 4-5min apart. The actual contractions where still pretty bearable I was *still singing (music channel was on lol). Am tidying up after Eva, not long after my mum rang to see how things where, an i told her they where Getting abit more intense now, OH kept saying my face screwed up *with a contraction lol my mum an dads was on there way we where going to there's cause the hospital is only 15min from them Plus they where going to look after Eva when I went to the hospital.*
Can't remember what time they actually got here but as soon as they did OH started to put all the things we needed bags carseats etc in the car. We sat for 20-30min watching the Kyle show! Then left stoped at the shop to get a sandwich, an some drinks for during labour.*
Got to mum an dads an ate my sarnie an made sure Eva was ok, an about 4ish I decided it was time to ring the hospital, rang an explained I'd been having contractions which where coming every 2-3min lasting 40-50 seconds, she said to come in to be checked but if I wasn't in established labour I'd be sent home because they didn't have enough beds!! Well I started to panic abit when I got of the phone.*
** * At 4:26 we where on are way to the hospital, contractions where getting closer together an strong! When we got there I just told my dad to go on that I'd walk round the hospital if I was being sent home. Went an sat to be seen an finally got called was asked to do a sample an was shown to a bed. She had a listen to baby's heart which was done an was told baby was fine an happy, an then she checked to see how many cms I was but waited till I'd had a contraction, she said she couldn't really tell at first so had to wait till I was having a contraction, I was 5cm I was so relieved I honestly thought I'd only be about 3 cm! *
She asked me to wait in a little seated area beside the beds because *they where short of beds so she had to ring round before I could be sent anywhere, she asked did I won't the G&A but I said I'd prefer to wait till I got a room so I just moaned through contractions while waiting, altho I must of been starting to get pissed of because I kept saying I wish that girl would shut up (who was in one of the cubicles) because she was moaning an sucking really heavily on the G&A through her contractions, OH wasn't sure what to say an quietly said your moaning aswell lol*
30mins later an I was showen to my room which was still being mopped :/ an they asked would I like the ball to bounce on which I did won't to try, an they hooked the G&A I didn't touch until about 15mins before I needed to push an it made me won't to be sick so I happily flung it at the top if the bed . Still bouncing on the ball contractions where defiantly full swing I was in agony with each one, an I just got the over powering urge to push so I was asked to get on the bed an not long after my waters broke, an the serious pushing began, I was givin the G&A again an I used it, I asked for my OH to tell me what I'd had, *I pushed for 25mins an my wee lady was born Rosalie Victoria *at 19:17 weighing 6lb 12oz *
