Round Ligament Pain in the First Trimester?

I know round ligament pain is typically a second trimester thing (I'm 9 wks), but I've been having some groin and lower tummy pain (around the pubic bone area) especially if I make a sudden movement. Has anyone else experienced this?

I started having that around 8 weeks too! It's so weird to feel it so early, but like you said, it's only if I roll over too fast or get up too fast. It only lasts a second but it's a sharp pain in my pelvic/lower abdomen.. So it seems like round ligament pain. Is this your first pregnancy?

Ligament pain can happen as early as five weeks into pregnancy. I have had it the whole time. Doctor said it is normal. Especially with first pregnancy. Mine tends to happen randomly. I get it in my urethra, vagina, and abdomen. Urethra is the worst.

Yes! It's my first, so I'm nervous about every little thing! I've felt so much better since we had our first u/s last week and heard a sweet heartbeat though

Is this your first pregnancy as well?

Congratulations! This is my second pregnancy, but third kid lol. With my twins I had to have a C-section, so I am wondering if that's why I am feeling it so early? It definitely makes sense for a first pregnancy, since it's the first time all of those ligaments are stretching

I also experienced it in my breast this morning. Not fun :/ might be the c section. Also might just be that this pregnancy your body knows what to expect with two.. Probably preparing early out of habit.

I had a c-section too and I'm noticing pain sometimes right where my scar is and that part is now turning very hard.

I started having it this week too, I'm very achey around my lower tummy. I even hurts while I'm in bed laying on my side, this didn't affect me last pregnancy til I was about 16 weeks, everything is so different for me this go around!
