I bought some today and I am wondering- does it change your cycles at all. Can I start taking it without talking to my doc? Should I take it even if my cycle is normal? I feel it might help towards better quality eggs.

Oh I also bought a cough bottle. But I didn't want to say what I wanted it for So I just asked for a cough bottle for a chesty, phlegmy cough...So she gave me this exputex one. But I read the back when I came out and it didn't mention that ingredient beginning with G. But it does say that it liqifies mucus coughs, So not sure whether to take it now or not- decisions decisions!

Well it is supposed to make cervical fluid " runnier" ah the joys of ttc. Mine has been bad since the mc so wanted to take some to improve it. But I don't know if I have the right one and apparantly it has to be right or else it could have the opposite effect and dry it up!

I've been taking royal jelly - it was recommended to me by my acupuncturist. It shouldn't have any effect on your cycle. It is just a great source of antioxidants and vitamins and minerals. It helps promote healthy egg production and supports your immune system.

After reading a TON on Royal Jelly, I ordered some and received it today and let me tell you~ IT TASTES GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked at how great it tasted! The consistency surprised me some, I don't know what I was expecting but it reminds me of honey mixed with thick icing. Give me a spoon and let me go to town!

oh btw as far as the cough medicine.. what is the active ingredient in what you bought?? you would want guaifenesin... not sure if the other is a good thing.. be careful though if you're not sure because if you get the wrong one- it can have the opposite effect of what you want!

thanks for this Holly - i have been researching royal jelly and all i can find are the capsules.
Any ideas if it matters if you have fresh or vitamin pills - i would have though fresh was the way forward.
Am in the UK - if anyone can recommend somewhere i can buy this ?

Well, fresh is definitely better- but if you can't get ahold of fresh- then the pills are still a good option!!! I've seen it on amazon.com too.. are you able to order from there??

btw, Lyo.. it doesn't change your cycles at all- and it's actually safe to take the entire pregnancy.. it's VERY good for you and something I plan on continuing to take long term!

hmm I can't remember what the active ingredient is but it was not that as I had been looking for that. I don't think I will risk it. I will try to get the right stuff next cycle.

I did start taking the royal jelly. I think I had been mixing it up with agnus cactus or something!

that is a great website.

I take the capules, i love them, they def increase sex drive and i generally just feel healthier! I think they are great, i started by taking them before i added all my other combinations, so i know the good effects are from that.

results we very quick, within the week my sex drive increased dramatically and i ovulated, my latural phase was very short but not sure if thats the royal jelly or the MC, but with taking everything else i have the most perfect cycle i have ever had in my life.

I think I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon! I've heard lots of good things! After two mc's I'm particularly keen of the "support egg health" part!
