Has anyone had issues with the bump? I've always posted here. For years and never had an issue with anyone. Everyone is so nice here. Maybe I'm spoiled here? I posted one thread on my bump app and got bitched at right away BC I didn't post in an already made thread for symptoms.... when my post was about being fit and help with my fatigue.... I felt pretty bullied too since multiple ladies liked the other Ladies replies. Ayer I stuck up for myself I basically got told to GTFO. Exact abbreviation too. Really? Unreal.

Does anyone here know a way to deal with complete fatigue? I'm trying to stay fit. But I'm falling asleep in the car while SO drives, also by 7pm I'm ready for bed. Naps during the day too. I'm wondering if and when this will subside? Anyone have experience with this? I was not as tired with my DD. Any help would be great

I've never posted on The Bump, but Baby Center is full of drama. I was a member here first and when I joined there it was a real shock at how different it was.

Can't really help with the fatigue as I felt good during my first pregnancy, but this time around keeping up with my almost one year old is SO exhausting.

I haven't posted on the Bump but it's likely the same ladies who post on the Knot who have absolutely deplorable behaviour. Years ago I posted, once, and to this day cannot believe how horribly mean and vile the women were towards me for asking a simple wedding planning question. It was ruthless and total trolling.

I had really bad fatigue around 20 weeks. I have no idea why but it lasted for two weeks and I could barely get out of bed. Thankfully it passed so hopefully yours will too. Hormones might be adjusting for you right now. Also, might be worth getting your thyroid and iron levels checked.

I would never ever post on that site. I wandered over there when we first started to ttc just to read around for advice and couldn't believe how awful they were. Luckily, I found this site and have stayed here ever since.

I felt like that throughout the first tri. Honestly, your body is going through tons of changes and needs it's rest. Don't fight it, rest. I felt better literally a week into second tri, I hope you do too :flower:

Ladies I really appreciate the help and kind words I'm not happy at all with how I was treated and then sticking up for myself only made them think they could blame me! Ludicrous. I'm assuming they are uneducated or just drama full. I'm sticking here as I've been here for years and never had an issue. Sucks that I forgot my old password and can't seem to get the password sent to me but that's OK

I'm banking on feeling better soon BC I need too! I hate how lazy I've been. I understand its really not my fault but I do not want to be inactive.

Does anyone else get dizzy standing up?? I have before pregnancy but that was if I didnt eat as I'm hypoglycemic. Not sure why I'd be dizzy now right after eating too!
Also can anyone tell me if you had a relatively easy labor for the first child will you with the second? I'm kind of scared as SO and I were both big babies... With DD her bio was only 6lbs. I was 9 and 10 oz! My SO was 9 something. Ugh.

I had the fatigue and occasional dizziness when standing through the first trimester. If your blood pressure is good and you're eating enough and keeping hydrated, there's really not much you can do, unfortunately. Your body is working its ass off building a person from scratch, it's gonna be tired for awhile. Rest up as much as you can, get gentle exercise if you have a more alert day, and chances are you'll feel a lot better and get a burst of energy in the second trimester. My energy levels still aren't quite up to pre-pregnancy, but I feel a lot better than I did during the first few months.

You'll make it through the next month or month and a half, mama!

I thought this was all made up until I found the bump. I really don't know how people can be so grumpy all of the time...ah well.

I got the extreme fatigue this time and it's been wearing off for the last week or so...so maybe yours will get better around 10 weeks, too? While it was really bad I had a few days where I didn't really get out of bed much at all, it was horrible, but I'm lucky to have lots of family around to help out with my daughter. Can you get someone to babysit so you can catch up on sleep?

ugh I hate all those other forums.
I have suffered from fatigue with all pregnancies, particularly early on. I find that you have to eat as well as you can and go with the flow when it comes to having extra sleep.
getting out in the fresh air can help too.
xx

Hey ladies,

Can we refrain from discussing other websites please.

Thanks :flower:

I had fatigue this time (funny how it seems to coincide with already having a child!) it seems to be a lot better in the last week or so. It's possible you have low iron but they should check that soon. It wasn't that with me but I had low iron last time.

i have major fatigue and suffer the same symptoms you are mentioning. The only advice i can give you is just to sleep if you feel tired. My fatigue got better with my 1st around 2nd trimester, but this time around it seems to be lingering a bit longer.

I think the mods do a good job with trying to keep things smooth...
I have read lots of babycenter drama... But I always stay here with B and B..

Couldn't agree more... I have another forum app- i had never posted, but seen some pretty vile behaviour. In particular, there was a thread that turned into bullying a woman for using the term 'gender' instead of 'sex'. So pointless, and needlessly aggressive. Very thankful for the bnb ladies!!

Also... that Liz Lemon clip has made my day!

I've used a couple of forums before this one but this really is the best one I've ever been on, there's so much support on here and if I'm honest, I'd be lost without it! Im so sorry people where so rude to you :hugs:

With the fatigue I don't think there is much you could do, try staying hydrated by drinking plenty water, rest whenever you can, and eat plenty fruit and veg for energy :)

Like all others have said, just try to keep food down and stay hydrated. My fatigue started subsiding around week 10ish, but returned around week 14. Days off I take naps still and never have before in my adult life. As I type this I'm co templating one lol. Just get your rest. I know how bad it feels to be so lazy, but honestly, there's not much you can do about it but give in.

i get dizzy from standing up too fast, or leaning over and then going to upright too quickly. i keep forgetting and do it all the time and my husband gets jokingly mad at me, telling me, "you KNOW better![-X"

before i was pregnant, i tended to have low blood pressure, so i'm guessing it's just even more noticeable since our bodies are supplying blood to a speedily growing baby now too!:dohh:

just try to remember to move slower; that's what i'm trying to do!
