Rug help

I have a fairly deep pile rug in my living room. Grace has had a few "accidents" on it and at the time I've given it a rub down to stop it from soaking in. But now it just stinks and it's making my whole living room stink.

I've tried pretty much everything to try and get rid of the smell. I've febreezed it, used shake n vac on it while I'm hoovering, left it outside to air out, used deep cleaning foam... nothing has worked. Anyone have any other ideas how I can get the smell out? Because I don't have £40 odd for a new one!

I use biolodgical washing powder and a dish cloth on mine, disolve it in red hot water and give it a scrub....smells really lovely and strong and the enzymes should get the dirt out of it x
