Has anyone ever had their significant other go in for an SA and count and motility we above average awesome, but white blood cell count was 5 times what it should be?

Wondering if this has happened to anyone else that ended up getting pregnant. And what happened to correct the problem... my DH is getting really anxious.

My DH's SA had a note that he had "numerous immature cells". I've read that unless they use the right kind of stain for the analysis, immature sperm cells can be mistaken for white blood cells. If they really are wbcs, it could be a sign of infection. Can he ask for a semen culture to check for that? He might just need antibiotics.

Strangely enough when my DH went for his the first time they told him he might have hepatitis! Gave us a proper scare but then when the result came back it was "nothing" and we never found out what was wrong but I mean that was last year May and we still haven't gotten it right. So I think definitely try and get to the bottom of it now whatever it it!
