Sad news

Hi all,
Firstly i'd like to say thank you to everyone on here who has shown support & shared their experiences & given me advice over the past few weeks.
Last night i sadly miscarried our little Limpet . For those who have followed our story, i called the epu yesterday to try & bring my scan forward. On giving them my symptoms they asked me to attend the gynae ward to see a medical team. After a long wait i was scanned & actually got to see Limpet, he was tiny (2.3mm long) actually he was too small for my gestation which was not good news. I was warned that i may miscarry but the wonderful medical team all had their fingers crossed for me as i left. I was also told i had a mild UTI & given antibiotics & also booked in for a repeat scan in 2 weeks.
As i arrived home last night i started to pass fresh blood & what i believe to be our little one.
Needless to say we are distraught but working our way through it together with the support of our friends & family.
I hope to be back online when i feel stronger.

Oh I'm so sorry. I had a UTI as well when I miscarried (although I didn't know that I'd miscarried at the time, found out a week later at my scan). Just give yourself some time to come to terms with it. It's an awful, awful thing to go through and I hope that you have lots of support, which you obviously have. Take lots of comfort from your OH as well, that's what helped me as he was obviously going through the same emotions as me. Oh and of course, there's lots of support on here. I don't know what I'd have done without all the lovely, lovely girls on here xxxx

Aww I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I had a mc in the past week too so I kind of know how you must be feeling, my thoughts are with you, I hope you can start to feel better soon

Please take as much time as you need, there is no time table to deal with your loss. Believe me I had to tell myself this several times a day! So sorry for all your pain and for your loss
