So I went in to see the high risk specialist. I'm 25w3d and everything was measuring between 24w0d and 25w3d. But I saw his cerebellum was measuring 23w3d. That really concerned me, but the doctor didn't seem worried at all. At the end everything added up showed that my baby was 6 days behind. Then he said "that cerebellum measurement is really bringing that down" so he deleted it then said, "ok so that makes you only 3 days behind, 6 days behind isn't anything to worry about either." But why would he just ignore the cerebellum measurement? He said he was going to check his head next time (4 weeks) and not because he was concerned, but because they couldn't get a good look because of the way he was positioned. Has anybody been through this? He told me everything was normal but I saw the size of the cerebellum and I do worry. :nope: I waited 8 years and 2 miscarriages to gave this baby, I don't want anything bad to happen

Just wanted to send you some hugs :hugs: I went through a big scare this pregnancy when my drs thought baby might have a chromosonal disorder, and all I can say is be positive! Measurements can be (wayyyy) off, and specialists are trained to know what to look for when it comes to abnormalities. So your Dr not being concerned is a good reason to be positive, and I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry. :flower: I hope everything turns out okay for you hun!
