Scan in 6 days! Nub, skull or potty?!

Hello, I am just after some info regarding sexing a scan photo lol..I have my nhs scan in 6 days (not that I'm counting!) and I'll be 13+6 - I had an 8 week scan so pretty sure on dates.

What is best at that stage, nub, skull or potty shot? I'm pretty sure as it's an nhs scan they won't give any insight even if it's obvious..which it may not be I know but I wanted to ask for a good shot anyway so me and oh can guess ourselves and so I can get others opinions

At 13+6 you could tell with mine by looking at the potty shot. But a nub is your best bet. Good luck!

Either ask for it...I lucked out and had a nice tech and she found it for me. Or get the whole side view of baby=)

I asked to get a nub shot at my 12 +6 scan and the lady was like, oh do you want to know the gender and she went and had a look and goes yea ild say its a boy, she seemed pretty confident to. But not getting my hopes up untill my 20week scan. By skull theory everyone thought it was a girl so will be interesting to find out

Most techs are reluctant to say at that point as it's still a guess really. Too easy to get wrong before 16 weeks. You may not even get a clear shot. They are stubborn when they want to be, lol. I've just had my anatomy scan at 20 weeks and it was only right at the end (nearly an hour scan) that baby opened his legs! I have a shy boy, lol.
