Scan on Friday! - Nervous & Excited!

Well i have my 20 week scan on friday and we will hopefully find out the sex. I've been saying a boy since the very beginning but recently decided i think its a girl. OH still says a boy so it will be interesting to find out who's right.

Bit nervous though cos of my age. I'll be 40 in May and so my risk of Down's is a lot higher. Have convinced myself that something may be wrong so wont be too much of a shock if its true (if that makes sense). I will love this baby no matter what so it doesnt matter either way, i've waited long enough for this.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, will let you all know on Friday how it went.

This pregnancy has been going so fast but the last week is dragging cos i want to get this scan done so much.

I know how you feel, this week has dragged so much! i got the feeling the next few weeks after scan will drag too, as i am count down to leaving work in 6 weeks, can't wait now and it couldn't come sooner! Not doubt it will drag though! lol

Hope your scan goes well and your LO cooperates. My mom had me at the age of 42 and my DH's mother had his little sister (she's five now) when she was 42 as well. We are both perfectly healthy, I'm sure your LO will be too.
