scan today. trying not to worry. =/ doc said not to worry...

So the scan at 5w0d showed gestational sac. Good.

Scan at 7w0d, i measured 6w6d and HB was 134. Good.

Today at 8w2d, i measured 7w3d , HB 162.

Almost a week behind. I still have HG pretty bad. She added phrenegran to my meds. I didn't lose anymore weight this time, but I didn't gain any either. =/

I'm a bit concerned I'm measuring almost a week behind. Doc says since there is a good, strong HB she isn't too worried; when I start being able to eat more, the baby will catch up.

My 1st MC, I measured consistently behind. Never saw a HB, but growth completely stopped before 8 weeks.

Just a bit nervous about measuring so far behind. DS never measured small...if anything he was big.

I wouldn't worry. I've heard and seen many ladies measure behind one week, and baby is all caught up by the next scan.

Strong symptoms, and a heartbeat are good signs. I think this baby is a keeper .

Yay sounds good so glad there's a strong heartbeat I've read so many stories on here where small babies or ones measuring a bit behind have caught up by the 12 week scan

Just keep thinking of that strong hb

Hi Hun, I'm a sonographer, as long as there is a good heartbeat it's fine. I'm sure bub will catch up, sometimes the sonographer might be measuring at a slightly oblique angle too which foreshortens the measurement.
Ultimately we can't predict what might happen but it's sounding absolutely fine!
