Scared of being alone when DH goes back to work

I was talking to dh today about the two weeks he plans to take off work when lo arrives and he said he may only be able to take a few days of due to money. I'm super bummed that he can't stay home with us for two weeks like we planned but I'm also scared how I will handle being alone with lo when he goes back to work only a few short days after birth. My mom will be in town to help me for the first couple weeks (if she can time her trip w/ the birth) but after that I'm on my own during the whole day. When I told dh I am scared he acted insensitively and told me I'd be fine, nothing he could do about it, etc..... Anyone else have the same feeling, terrified when your dh went back to work? How did you cope by yourself all day? How can I express my fear to him without him being all defensive and trying to come up with solutions? I just want him to comfort me and acknowledge my fear, not try to solve it.
