I am only 4+1 and got my bfp on Saturday but half an hour ago I wiped and saw brown blood! I am so scared right now. This baby is so wanted! I know it is early but I would be so gutted if I were to mc again. I lost my first pg at 6 weeks in 2013, went on to have my son in 2014 and am now pg with #2.

I have had nightmares every night since I got my BFP that I was miscarrying and now I feel like I am living one  I DID get brown spotting with DS right when AF was due and it cleared right up but my mc started as brown spotting too. I'm really trying to relax right now, just laying on the couch while DS is thankfully napping. I am hoping that it is because we went to a festival yesterday and I over did it, but I am so so scared and there is nothing I can do to make it better other than wait. Such a horrible feeling...

It could be the bleeding is from walking at the festival. I notice I bled more during all my pregnancies when I overdid it. I also think some women do tend to get their first periods after becoming pregnant in the form of breakthrough bleeding, or since it is brown which means old blood, it could be left over from implantation. I wouldn't worry just yet as long as you're not having menstrual-like cramping along with the bleeding.

Sounds like inplantation bleeding. Good luck x

Hey hun, any updates? How are things going??

I just wanted to let you know that I spotted red blood with DD at 17 weeks and she's now 17 months old and healthy. I also spotted red blood for several days at 9 weeks with my current pregnancy. I had an emergency scan, but baby was rolling all around and doing fine. They don't know what caused the bleeding. I'm now 15 weeks and baby is still doing ok.
