Scared to death .. Need some advice

Looking for some advice ...

Had missed miscarriage in aug'10 at 10 weeks

Fell pregnant again should be about 6 weeks now.

Last week went to the toilet on sat and pink discharge
On sun nothing, monday afternoon red blood but only a small amount. Tuesday red blood but more of it. Same on wednesday. Had scan on wednesday and baby showed at 5 1\2 weeks with yolk sac but no heartbeat midwife said too early and would need to rescan in two weeks time.

Thursday bleeding got a bit heavier, friday bleeding the same but passing large clots bout size of golf balls, same saturday and same today ( sunday).

Had hcg tested on thurs level was only 267 but doctor said that doesn't mean anything until i get my next bloods on monday....

am i going to lose this baby??? i asked midwife and all she could tell me was i have a 50% chance either way! PLEASE HELP going out of my mind ... oh and also cause bleeding is heavier scan has been brought forward to next thursday!

I had bleeding at the beginning of both my pregnancies - one ended in miscarriage and I am now 35 weeks pregnan. So bleeding isnt always a bad thing.

I really hope all is OK for you. Can you not just go to your EPU tomorrow, as an emergency?

i asked on friday because of the clots i just wanted to know if the baby was still there.

But i was told although its agonising i have to wait to allow enough time to see if there has been any progression in the pregnancy.

So sorry for your loss glad this pregnancy has turned out okay!

Waiting is the worst part.

If you're six weeks, the scan on Thursday should show something so you know what is going on.

Got second set of bloods back today.

Levels have dropped - i've lost my baby
