Okay folks. I'm new so hihihihi!
Little background. I'm 32 (33 next week) and DH is 40. This is child #1 for both of us. Guess you could say we're late bloomers. We've been TTC for 3 years. LMP was Dec 7th. Avg. cycle length is 31 days for years and I have never (read: NEVER) missed a period.
Today makes day #17 that AF is a no-show. So far I've had 3 negative hpts. Even used the first response kind. I'm nauseated in waves, have low stomach pain that isn't like AF cramps, mild back pain, some dizziness. All of these symptoms have been going on since before AF missed her big entrance.
Went today to have serum hcg level done at doc's office. I'm terrified of the results. Both DH and I want this so badly. The old clock is ticking louder than ever for both of us.
Has anyone ever had anything similar? Even if it didn't result in a bfp I would still like to know your experience. Tell me your story.

I think it's very possible stress and our mentality can really swing AF around a bit. I know in the past for me (before TTC) I would be really late or totally skip a period (or have it be super light) in times where I get stressed out. I do tend to be a very emotional very high-stress person so for me it's typical that things aren't 100% regular, but when you're used to that structure and your pattern shifts your mind starts to do this "What the..." mode and it's so frustrating. Anyway! Welcome and I hope you get your BFP soon!!!
DH and I are both in turmoil. This is too strange. I want to accept that AF is here and move on but my goodness, she keeps messing with me.
