:happydance::happydance:

My son is officially done is final day in preschool tomorrow and Amanda will be done on the 26th.

Most parents dread the summer as their kids drive them up the wall.

But, I am so happy that I will have 2 months of not having to go back and forth to schools 4 times a day, no rush rush in the morning to get the kids ready etc.

Now, ask me if I am this happy in August when the kids start getting bored.

Honestly, I have them in quite a few things over the summer so hopefully boredom won't set in as quickly.

It's come around quick hasn't it?
I was saying that to OH last night, and so much to pack in in theses last few weeks

I'm starting to get a bit wibbly though as Emily will be moving up to middle school

And through experience i know that as soon as the Yellow t-shirts are swapped for the blue shirts, they undergo some weird attitude morphing thing, so she is gonna be more of a cowbag to me than she is now!!!

when do your kids go back???

I live right on the border of Scotland/ England on Scottish side and our kids are off from 27th June - 19th Aug but 10 min drive over the border and they aint off till end of July and go back in Sept :dohh: drives me mental lol

How weird
Ours break on 18th July and go back 2nd September

For most schools, they end June 26th and then the go back on September 2nd.

Canada sounds more like the Scottish hols

England have so many dif hols to us its unreal even easter, half term all of them are different :dohh: makes me mad tho with living so close as wen mine are on holiday i often wanna take them to places over the border like fun parks etc but they are closed till the English are off :hissy: annoyin lol

mind you we can get cheap hols at the begining of july if we wanna go down south as they are still at school but again they dont hav all the things open due to them not being off TUT lol

Quite truthfully, I think 2 months of summer is a bit long for the kids. I wouldn't mind if it was one month. LOL

Seriously, by the time the second month hits, boredom really sets in. Also, their entire routine is changed throughout the summer and it's tough getting them back on schedule by the time school hits again.

Yeah I always started itching for school supplies and new clothes once August came around. But then again, I'm 50% nerd.

I'd rather it was 2 weeks
