I had horrible Sciatica with my first 2 pregnancies and worked full time during them. Since I had my 2 kids I've only worked part time and normally only work one or two days a week in the summer so I can be home with them when they are out of school. Well the last few Sundays after I come home Sciatica sets in and I am wincing and have tears in my eyes for the rest of the day. I start work at 3:30 AM and am on my feet while at work, bending over, squatting and lifting more times then I can count. Plus I'm more clumsy and drop way too many things then I have to pick those up. Needless to say by time I'm home I am so sore that I hobble around like an old lady, and can't even muster up energy to take the kids to the park. So annoyed!

Just wanted to send hugs :hugs: I have what I think is the starts of PGP and I am not moving about all day (I have an office job so I think I sit too long then get up hobbling :dohh:)

Didn't want to read & run tho :hugs:

I absolutely hate sciatica!!! I had it with all three pregnancies and now this time i have a ruptured disc that is constantly pinching the nerve and im in burning pain24/7
Sorry not much help but just wanted to tell u your not alone in the pain!!

You are not alone. This is something I was going to talk to my doctor about at my next appointment. This is my first pregnancy, and I just (over the past couple of weeks) began noticing sharp nerve like pain in my left hip.

I have sciatica this time round. Well I have sciatica because I have Degenerative Dick Disorder, meaning my disks in my lower back are wearing away. I was diagnosed with diagnosed with sciatica a month or two before I got pregnant.
Then I stepped over a baby gate one day (6 days after I conceived this one) and that hurt so badly I decided to take a hot shower to help calm the pain... as I stepped out of the shower, I went straight down to the floor. Where I couldn't move . With coaxing from my mother and a lot of pain and crying later, I managed to work up the guts after an hour to crawl back to my room and climb up on to my bed... Needless to say 3 hours later my mother was calling for an ambulance...
A shitty ER visit later ( they are lucky I haven't sued) I was again diagnosed with Sciatica... I spend the next few day in bed unable to move..

Then earlier this month we went shopping, and our car broke down.. any way, whatever happened during that time, it set off the sciatica (which never goes away, but is tolerable) and I ended up laying in bed for a few days unable to move again.. I had to force myself to sit up at times to nurse my DD. She does not laying beside me to nurse..

Anyway, I totally feel for you, I couldn't imagine dealing with that and working a physical job.
