hey.
okay so this is my first...dont really know the normal running of things.
but i was worried cause my symptoms disappeared.
i had an early scan at 7 and a half weeks but i thought i was 8 and half and i've had bad cramps and things since. im just worried somethings gone wrong and i havent miscarried yet.
so...my midwife booking in appointment is on the 14th of may. what happens at that? cause if theyre going to take bloods and things i am prone to fainting and ending up ill with needles and things but do they not do a quick scan first to check that everythings okay?
im just a bit confused, if someone could help me then that would be great.
i wasnt booked in for a 12week scan because of waiting lists.

Booking in appt is where they take your details and history etc, they will take bloods and will expect urine sample (so bring some, your gp/chemist should be able to give you sample bottle)-although you can do it on the day if you forget. Don't imagine you'll get a scan or even a doppler, you should get appt made for scan on the day though.
As for the cramps you've had try not to worry as these are really common, as long as you've had no fresh bleeding things should be fine, symptoms or no symptoms.

hey, im sure everything will be dine. good luck!
i know how u feel im only 4 weeks and always worring that she is ok
