Scratching/pinching tummy and groin area

Hi

My LO is coming up to 6 months old. For the last week or so whenever we change his nappy and he's naked he'll scratch and pinch at his tummy around his belly button and around his groin area.

He never seems in any discomfort at other times and doesn't try and scratch the area when clothed.

Does anyone elses LO do this? Any advice???

Ed does it. I think its just an exploration thing for them, I do joke about it and tell him it'll fall off if he keeps playing with his "boy bits". I would leave him to explore hun or maybe leave his nappy off for half an hour or so just in case he's getting a bit warm and irritated

Liam does this aswell just because there not used to being nakes and feeling that part of themselves like that.. liam always pulls his bits in the bath lol

Leo always does this too...weird children!

katie does it too! the minute her nappy's off her hand's in her bits or grabbing her belly!!

my eldest did this and shes now 8 and does it whenever she wakes up or stretches just like she did as a baby
