Second+ babies come earlier?

In your experience, did second+ baby come earlier than first?

My second was later than my first but only by a few days as first was 39+3 and second was 39+6.

My second baby (DD) was born 2 days later than her older brother (DS 37+1 and DD 37+3) so no, my second baby actually came later. And their labors were the same length too-19 hours each, so the whole 'next babies come faster' bit didn't work for me either.

My first was born at 40+2, my 2nd at 41+6 ... so a fair bit later. Labour lengths were pretty much the same as well, roughly 3 days from first contraction to delivering but with most of it being very ease contractions that could just be ignored. Actual 'active labour' (past 6cm) was only a couple of hours.

Yes, my first was born at 42 weeks and my 2nd was 41 weeks. My second labour was a bit longer than my first though.

Second 41+2

So earlier but not early enough Both were 4 hour labours.

3rd was born at 38+4
This one has just made it to 38+5 and still cookin'!!

My first came at 40 weeks
Second at 39+6

My first was 40+1 (induced so he could have stayed in longer)
2nd was 39+4 (spontaneous labour)

I was so sure I would go 2 weeks over my due date with my 2nd as I would have just had to wait patiently as I wasn't going to get induced.

Noooo she was 40+9 and i needed sweep at 40+7

First was 40+4 all sudden on its own.

2nd: 18 days late

Well, my second baby came earlier than my first but my third baby came later than my second. #1 and #3 were both 'overdue'

#1- born at 41+5
#2- born at 38+3
#3- born at 41+0

My first was 11 days late and my second was 12 days late. We'll have to wait and see this time x

my first was born at 40+4 second is still not here at 41 weeks and no signs that itll be any time soon either. I honestly wish I wasnt told that the second usually comes earlier as its only made things 10x worse lol x

This one's still hanging on at 40+5

Not for me - my first was 39+1, my second was born on her due date.

This is how mine went...

1st - 28.6 weeks
2nd - 35 weeks
3rd - 38.4 weeks

Yes in my experience
My 1st was 7 1/2 hours
My 2nd was 4 1/2 hours
My third was 3 hours 20 mins
