second cycle after MC. Ovulation on CD7?? help!

I had my miscarriage at about 5 weeks in sept. I've had one period since then. On CD6 DH and I BD. On CD7 I had what felt like ovulation pain on my left side. I had pink spotting on CD16 and CD17 then nothing and pink and brown spotting CD20 and now brown spotting today CD21. I haven't been able to really pinpoint ovulation because I haven't had much CM this time that I've noticed. My cycles are normally about 30-35 days. But could the MC have messed up my cycle that much for me to ovulate that early?

I guess I'm wondering if I could have ovulated at CD7 and if my spotting could be implantation. Opinions? ?

I'm new to this site. And could really use someone to talk to. Also we've been trying for about 2 years now and spotting mid cycle is REALLY out of the ordinary for me but the random short cycle is not.

Hi Mamawolf.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I miscarried in late September, so I can't relate.

I don't have much to say besides it seems like a wait-and-see situation. For me, my cycle went back to normal almost immediately after my m/c. But everyone is different. It's tricky trying to sort out the "new normal" post-m/c.

Thanks! That's what's throwing me off is that this cycle isn't normal. I'm beginning to wonder if I ovulated at all

Try an opk next cycle. Once you have a better idea when you are ovulating, you might be able to make some sort of sense out of your cycles. Sorry I can't be of more help. I am 2 weeks post d&c so no idea what my cycles are going to do!

Hey mama wolf! Welcome! I'm sorry about your loss.

3 weeks after my mc, I started spotting for a few days and thought it was my period. It was actually ovulation bleeding, which I've never had before or since.

I recommend using OPKs (wondfos are available from Amazon for a really good price).

I lost my first baby in Jan, took about 5 weeks for my period to return. Using OPKs, I was pregnant again by May, but sadly lost that baby as well. It took about 7 weeks for my period to return and I found out at the end of October I'm pregnant again.
