second time mum but still dont have a clue?

hi looking for some advice

with my first ds i went in to hospital to be induced but when i was put on the monitor i was in labour so i never had to do any of the timing or anything for my contractions.

im currently 8days overdue had a sweep yday since last night ive been having contractions but they r between 10-12 mins apart and onpy lasting 35-45 seconds could this be early labour or is it likely to stop? i havent slept all night.

I have no idea either as I was induced the first time round, but it definitely sounds like labour! Good luck x
