Second time mummies...

I was just wondering what your second bump looked like?

If you had one gender the first time, did the second bump just take the same shape regardless of gender? Or after having a boy would your bump go higher if you had a girl second time around, for example?

I'm 17+1 and looking like I did at the same point with no. 1 (yes, I've been checking back at photos! Haha)

I look around the same too! Last pregnancy I had an a bump which was obvious in the right clothes but it wasn't massive and could be hidden right up to labour unless I showed it off lol.

It seems to be going the same way this time. (Unless I randomly pop) I have a bump which is noticeable but not big yet and can be hidden!

i think both mine were much same size etc 1st boy 2nd girl.nw preg 3rd an i think this ones bigger, probs isnt but feels it lol (22+5).

Mine are opposites! When I was pregnant with DD I was carrying REALLY low in my pelvis, I had no bump whatsoever from under my boobs till my bellybutton! It was so weird, I was like a lowercase "b." And I felt almost all of her kicks right above my pubic bone or on my cervix! This baby (boy) is way up high and all out front and I feel his kicks in my ribs or near my bellybutton and I feel like my bellybutton is going to rip in half. So they're total opposites!

I seem to be carrying low and feel all the kicks really low down in the pelvis. I cant remember with DD though. The bump looks the same, all front but I think im twice as big at 19 wks as I was with DD! People used to comment how small I was with DD and this time people are surprised im only 19 wks as I look so big.

I feel amd look so much bigger 2nd time round..feel different too but can't put my finger on what exactly it is..maybe this is a blue one to join my DD..time will tell..4 weeks tomorrow!! Xoxo

I'm a third time mom. With Ds#1 and #2 the shape was very similar, carried high and out in front, only gained in the belly, the only difference between the two was with ds#2 I gained slightly more and belly was bigger but baby was bigger. With #3 (gender unknown) I have been getting larger faster but still all baby. Still carrying high. And I've not been able to hide the obvious pregnant bump since 8 weeks!!

I had a boy first and a girl this time. My bump looks the same but it's bigger, not any higher or lower though. So I am just showing more this time around.

This is my second and im pregnant with another boy. My belly shape is different though. My belly is bigger and more heavier now lol

Different bump shapes for me! Girl bump was up high and spread round. Boy bump is waaaay out in front. They are in different positions though so that probably makes a difference. Here is a pic of both bumps at 24 weeks:

I think I'm bigger this time around so far, with ds I had a big round ball out front and put on a lot of weight even in the beginning.
This time I've only put on 5lb and yet I have put it on all around, love handles seem to be growing at the same rate as my bump.

This pregnancy was so different all in all. I do however have a bump earlier than I had with DD and would be interesting to see how I will carry. Can't wait to get there!

My bump was really low with DS (my first). So low I didn't really 'show' until 6/7 months to others. This time it way higher and others can already tell I am pregnant. Even though I am on the heavier side, I look more pregant then just chunk! We DS, I just looked chunk until later because I started way heavier with him.

Don't know if this has anything to do with the sex of the baby being I am having a girl, but I am definitely carrying typical of the old wives tales of a girl!

I don't know about the way the bump LOOKS; I haven't gotten that far. Just starting to bump with this one. BUT, my boy carried VERY low the entire pregnancy. It felt like he was against my pelvis and bladder the entire time. So far, my girl has been carrying high. Already in the pregnancy she feels up high, and I am already having acid reflux issues. Only 14+4.

My bump is slightly smaller this time around and looks different in shape but im guessing that's due to the loose skin I still have from dd. Both pregnancies are girls

This time my bump got a lot bigger a lot faster! We won't find out gender until Tuesday, so I'm not sure if there is a difference based on that yet But here are a couple pictures of my belly. The one on the left is from today(17w3d) and the on the right was at 17w with DS.
