Security token missing?

While i was trying to change my avatar pic a message keeps apearing saying that a security token was missing. If this happend unexpectedly please contact administration asap? What is this i have been trying to update my pic for a month now and the same thing keeps happening. I have never had this problem before. Thank you

well i did what the website said and its still not working? Now what should i do?

You need to resize your picture in paint or personally I use imageshack that have standard resize option.
