Seen Midwife Today

Hiya i went and saw my midwife today at 12 at first she talked to me then she said have i got my blood results back and i said no so she rang up and i got them back everythings normal. Then she Rang up to get the results back about my iron and that was normal. Then she put this thing on my belly and i could hear my babys heart beat it was very strong. She said that my baby was moving around alot and asked if i felt the baby move yet. I have got to go back and see her when im 24 weeks. xxx

Im not sure if its the baby or not ive felt like something at one corner of my belly then it goes and comes back. What does it actualy feel like?...
I felt like crying when i heard the heartbeat its dead emotional i just want to see my baby which i will in (1 week and 5 days) when i go for my scan and find out the sex. I give birth about 5 weeks after my 17th bday xxx

I was just wondering about my first midwife appointment at GP in a couple of weeks, sounds painless enough though...been so long since my first I have forgotten most things! Do they take more blood at each appointment to test iron etc?

mine feels like little thumps sarah and now sometimes i get proper kicks which are like harder thumps

I get something like that it feels like a sharp pain kinda thing if thats what you get. I cant wait till i feel a proper kick xx

Aww thats great news

when I was about 16 weeks I got this funny rumbling in my tummy... like when you're hungry but it felt a bit lighter. I dont really know how to describe it... then I started feeling little flutters and now Im getting kicks. They just feel like someone prodding your belly, its exactly how I imagined it before it started Every one feels them at different stages though
