Self inducing...

There are some acupressure points related to contraction of the uterus. Massage therapists are trained to avoid these points when massaging pregnant women before week 37. They are called Gall Bladder 21, Large Intestine 4, and Spleen 6. Just check out an acupressure book for the exact placement (or you can probably easily find them online). I know people who swear by these (met them during my time in massage school). Good luck!
 
I hate to sound negative but this is just from my personal experience.. I tried everything, sex, pineapple, walking, bouncing on a ball, I had a sweep, washed my car :haha:, walked up massive hills and NOTHING worked apart from going into be induced in the end. I really hope something works for you though :hugs: x
 
There's a point on the bottom of your foot too. My OB actually told me no foot massages after my pregnancy started goin to hell
 
I think walking is probably the most effective, and if nothing else it keeps you nice and fit :thumbup: And lots of :dtd: Also, my midwife told me that pinching the soft part between your pointer finger and your thumb (make sure it feels funny/sort of twinges or hurts) constantly can help you to dilate.
 
i asked my mw auntie today who said sex twice in 24 hours usually does the trick!

Me and OH tried that with DS and it was sooo awkward with massive bump lol, ,took a lot of manuvering to get there lol
