Hi! I've not been around much since my son's birth as I've had a lot of problems but I was after some advice.
Just wondering if any of you ladies had PND, no desire for a sex life and problems with your weight and then discovered you had low Seratonin levels? When you started taking medication, did you notice a change in yourself and did a lot of your 'problems' get better?
I've been reading up a lot about the effects of low seratonin levels and it can account for everything that has happened since I had my son, I had low levels then and was given iron injection but no one tested to see if there were any improvements. I'm wondering if I'd been monitored and given the right medication then I wouldn't of had such a terrible time since then. I've literally had all the effects that low levels can cause.
Suppose I'm hoping that things will improve now that I know what's wrong, a better bond with my son, a sex life and lose a bit (or a lot) of weight.
Thanks. X
