serious cervical pressure/pain, cramps and open cervix! help!

I am I just being over paranoid here or should I call someone? We were out in town and I was walking around and noticed a serious pressure/pain feeling in my cervix when I was walking, it seriously feels like baby is right there wanting to come out.
I've been losing huge amounts of discharge today, and I checked my own cervix which feels very soft and is open...

I don't want to call anyone if this is just normal but I don't remember having this with either of my girls. What should I do?
I don't think labour ward will see me as I'm only 17 weeks.

You should go get checked out. Lots of discharge is normal during pregnancy, but if you're feeling cramping/pressure, you should definitely go get looked at. You may have an infection (also common during pregnancy), or you may be dehydrated. Please go to the doctor ASAP and let us know how you get on. Hugs to you!!

I dont think you should be poking around in there yourself luv but if your worried then def give someone a call..The discharge is prob normal as since I got preg its like someone turned on the taps..hope it turns out good

oo i have no idea hun! if you feel worried go get check! my mw always told me ANYTHING worries you no matter how minor you think it is go get checked out its peoples job at hosp to do it dont hold back an never feel stupid hope everythings ok xx

Once you have a vaginal birth, your cervix will never feel completely closed. But if you're feeling pain/pressure, I would definitely call your midwife.

I agree with everyone else about getting checked out, the only thing I would say is that I get a lot of pressure as well which my midwife said is normal as the baby gets a bit bigger.

Still its definately worth getting checked out!
