I've got a really bad craving for Dairylea Dunkers (with the jumbo tubes...not that that matters!) I was in Tesco yesterday and they were on buy one get one free, so obviously i had to get 2 boxes of 4  I've not had any yet though as i'm worried about the whole not eating soft cheese thing, I haven't eaten or drunk anything i shouldn't since i found out i was pregnant, but i've seriously GOT to have some - It's killing me that they're in the kitchen! Is it that bad if i do? They are only teeny pots of Dairylea.....The thing is obviously i probably wouldn't stop at one tub, it's a slippery slope and i'd only move on to the philidephia after that :haha:

Basically what i'm hoping everyone will say that they've eaten loads and their babies are fine!!! :winkwink::haha:

Thanks for reading :hugs:

I've ate both dairylea and Philly the whole way through, mw said that only unpasterised soft cheese like Brie/Camembert are a prob. Happy munching x

Dairylea is fine 2 eat! i am addicted 2 philadelphia dunkers

Yes I've been having philadelphia. Don't like dairylea personally but I would if I did I guess! I think it's not so much a harm to your baby if you eat these foods, but the risk you might get from getting listeria, correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

Yeah philedelphia and dairylea are fine to eat.. Although I must admit I haven't really wanted either

INTILL READING THIS ... Do they still sell the tubes with the little green bits on?? I think it was a herb tube.. I can't remember.. I'm off to google it :haha:

Yip the risk is from listeria but is gotten from unpasteurised soft cheese so these should be fine x

you worried me then as i have been eating them the whole way through lol.

Get em eaten! It's no problem at all. Enjoy!!

Mmmmm am thinking about cheesestrings now

Woohoo! Thank god for that!!! :happydance:

KayleighJayne, Yes that's the one's i got, Jumbo Tubes they're called :winkwink: Sorry for making you want some though

Thank you so much everyone for your quick replies (you sensed the urgency didn't you!! :haha:) I love this site, almost more than i love Dairylea!!! :winkwink: :hugs:

Oooooh that's good!! I hadn't seen them for a while.. But then saying that I hadn't really looked for them LOL.

May have to take a trip up tesco's tomorrow now :D... I know I won't be fully happy intill I have them.. Even if it is just the one LOL

xxx

Omg I bought 2 multipacks for £3.00 the other day and ate them all that day. One whole multipack went in the car on the way home...morish!!

I tried buying breadsticks and dairylea so I vould eat a whole pack of both without feeling bad for finishing a multi of dinkers, but it didn't taste the same!!!

yer i looked it up online when i was first pregnant make sure i could eat them. dairylea, philedelphia r all fine. primula soft cheese actulally has written on the back soutible for pregnant women. i think they should all put this then we wouldnt have to worry in the first place. ive eaten primula soft cheese by the bucket load as ive had massive cravings for it.

Aaaarrrrrggggghhhhh i hadn't even thought of Primula.....oh god what have i started :dohh:

Kayleigh, Just the one??? Good luck with that! haha

by soft cheese it means like soft cheese that is unpasturized like blue cheese. dairylea and philly are softened pasturised cheese
