I have a Seroma caused by having a c section and they are going to have to open up the incision to get rid of the "defect". Has anyone ever gone though this and how much did it hurt after the surgery?

Anyone? I go to a specialist Monday and might need to be reopened to be closed back up. I will share the results after my dr visit, if you are viewing this!

I went to the drs on Monday and he immediately wanted me in the hospital to have the wound reopened and heal from the bottom up. It was larger and wider than expected so I will be here till Saturday.

I am so bummed as I miss my LO while I am here. My DH brings him up here for a couple hours each day but I miss our routine together.

I know I haven't gotten any responses but wanted to share/ vent. Only my immediate family knows I'm here. So feel my world is pretty small right now.

oh hun that sux,i might be in the same boat soon :( good luck with ure recovery xxx

I have no experience of this myself.

Sorry to hear you're going through this and that you have to stay in hospital :hugs:

How are you feeling today? Any better?

Aww hun, I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope you recover quickly and are home soon. xx

Thanks ladies. I am still here in the hospital. Every morning they mess with the incisions either putting in drains or sutures. They say I should get out of ere by Saturday. To add insult to injury AF decided to visit. At least I got the best visit with laughs and smiles from LO.

I'll keep you posted

Islander what is going on with you?

Keep me posted with your scan results. I do not wish this on anyone.

I might/ might not get out tomorrow. Baby laundry and washing bottles never sounded so good. I wanna go home.

I am home but under strict light duty, can't drive, can't DTD, can't do a lot till I am fully closed up. Hopefully it will be soon.

Thanks for the support y'all.

Glad you're finally home. Hope you're getting lots of cuddles from LO!

So I am giving an update just in case thi has happened to anyone else. After a few weeks trying to get my wound to heal the dr decided to put three stitches in. It is good and bad. Good that this will all be done but bad in that it is a week before Xmas and I still have shopping to do. No heavy lifting for me which means no lifting the car seat in an out of the car. I can do it for his dr appointment or if I only have one destination with help. thank goodness for on line shopping.

Wish me luck!

good luck!!!sorry to hear u r still suffering!mine turned out to be ahaematoma and it eventually went on its own...was horrible... feel for you lady!big hugs!xxx
