I was told I would either have to pay 200$ to have the court serve him or could get a friend/family member to do it. Problem is, he's 9 hours away from me so I'd have to go down either way and show any friends where to find him. But I've recently been told about Registered Mail? I don't know anything about it, was wondering if someone knew what it is, and how I do it? I seriously want to do this whole thing without seeing him at all, or as little as possible and I won't be able to help myself to starting shit if I'm anywhere near him. It may be immature but I know my limitations, and after she nearly died during labour, I cannot stand to think about him at all. I have waaay too much anger. But I can't afford 250$ to avoid him. So if this mail thing is possible, count me in!!!

Hi Alexis I don't have advice for you sorry.im not sure how it all work over there I'm from England but I just want to congratulate you on your baby!!

Hi Alexis I'm a paralegal student and for serving papers yOu need special permission from a judge to serve someone by registered mail in Canada . :(

And you have to have no other way to do it or another place to serve him , or have no one to do it for you and / or there be a restraining order . Good luck tho
