My 5 week old baby just can't seem to settle in her car seat or her pram. Sometimes she will fall asleep when she is just put in for around 20-30 mins then when she wakes she just cries until we lift her out. Sometimes she even struggles to settle to sleep in the first place.
She needs to be swaddled for naps and bedtime so I do wonder if this is the problem? But how can you swaddle in a car seat?! I swaddled her once in her pram and she did seem a bit more settled but I'm afraid to swaddle her with her coat etc on while out incase she gets too warm.
Any advice please. I've been more or less house bound now for a few weeks and I really need to get out even for a walk with the pram lol.
