severe headaches after erpc

is this normal to have such a bad headache?? i never get them, its a week today since surgery. Im still bleeding and have passed some huge skin like clots ??

Ive no idea hun. If you are worried pop back to your GP. Although the headaches could be from all the stress etc

Hi...sorry to hear that you're not feeling well after your ERPC.

I had an ERPC last Sept and I cannot remember getting any headaches. I bled for a week afterwards and had a few clots but didn't pass any tissue. I was a bit uncomfortable sitting down and my stomach felt heavy during that first week.

I think you should contact either the EPAS (Early Pregnancy Unit) your GP or Gynae ward where you had your ERPC...just to be on the safe side!

I had an ERPC in april and didn't have any headaches either... I bled for about a week afterwards but I don't think you should really be passing clots as these should have been removed during the procedure.

Give your midwife or doctor a ring just to be on the safe side xx

Is this not normal, my headache has subsided thankfully.

I had it done last Tuesday morning. It was an ordeal, i went in on the monday morning, on emergency list, i had to wait all day, then got admitted for the night, then they gave me the pesarry.... then they cancelled it.

I had the worst night, i was sick, i passed out and everything started going, so had blood and diarreoh. Cant spell.

Finally went down at 11am the next morning.

I had severe cramps on thursday to the point of tears... then that night i had a big lump of what can only be described as skin, it wasnt bloody really, stretchy and really quite awful.

It was about the size of 2 maltesers.

Sorry to be so gross... i still keep getting little lumps. even today. 8 days after procedure... is this normal. Im still going through a few pads per day too

Well I don't know about normal but when I had my ERPC on the Fri, after being cancelled the previous day too, I had heavy bleeding with some clots, not massive but not small either. The bleeding lasted for 14 days and did get lighter. I found the pains stopped after about 3 days. That's my story and hope it helps you a little bit xxx
