Sharp pain in cervix at 24weeks

I have had this a few times now....a very sharp pain that stops me in my tracks that feels about where my cervix is. I rarely feel the baby but when I do it's always at my pubic hair line, I thought it would be higher by now? My son was much higher up than this baby is. Is it anything g I need to get checked out or is it normal when you carry a low baby? (It only lasts a few seconds) but sometimes it happens again a few seconds later...then days before it happens again.

It is likely just the baby sitting on/kicking your cervix. I think you should still ask about it at your next appointment to get your doctor's opinion on it, but I don't think I'd worry too much.

I feel most movement down low too, and I'm carrying high. She's just sitting breech right now and kicks more than punches. I can sometimes feel her head pushing up at the top, and I've gotten a couple of punches, but the kicks are still at the bottom.

If you have an anterior placenta, that could also explain why you're feeling movements where you feel them

It could be normal, but also might be worth getting checked. Honestly I always err on the side of rather being safe than sorry. Could your doctor or midwife do a quick ultrasound to check that your cervix is holding up?

I get punched in the cervix a lot or he likes to cram his head down there. I wouldn't worry about it unless there is blood.

Do check with your OB or midwife though, better safe than sorry.

I get punched/kicked in the cervix alot. Makes me jump and/or stop what im doing. Im carrying very low!! Wish baby would move up slightly xx
