sharp pain when coughing

When I coughed today unexpectedly I got a shooting pain across the top of my pubic bone. I know all these little twinges and pains and cramps are all normal and iv never had anything more painful than a period pain but just wanted to know if anyone else felt the same? I keep feeling like my lower stomach is stretching and getting these wierd little pains like shooting pains? X

Round ligament pain. Very common, it's my sign that I am pregnant. This starts before much else.

Ohhh thats what that is!! Iv been seeing it everywhere. Its not harmful or anything is it? Just means I get pains and such like? X

Not harmful at all, just doubles you up, (wait until you sneeze), its just the muscles stretching!

Exactly what My_First has said. It will come and go throughout your pregnancy, and it IS NORMAL and very safe and fine. No worries! Just enjoy the times when you're NOT experiencing this but expect it to come again whenever a growth spurt is coming along. lol
