I've been having sharp pains quite low down, near my pubic bone. Been having it all day since I woke up and it's got worse as the night goes on, it's not constant but hurts enough to stop me from walking when it does strike.
I think my bump looks a little lower today, could it be the baby just engaging? Or is it something else?

Thanks for reading :flower:

It could be baby moving down lower,or maybe lo is hitting your cervix..those are sharp pains!!!

It's hard to say what's going on in there. If you are worried you can always give your midwife/OB a call and see what they say. Baby could be moving down though. Does your bump get hard when the pain hits? If it does you might want to go in and be seen to make sure it's not early labor. I don't think it is though, I'd just call.

Yep, definitely sounds like engaging to me. That's what it felt like for me at first.

I have these pains too, not sure what they are, but the baby moving lower or engaging makes sense. I also feel sharp pains on my cervix, normally put that down to him hitting it. xx

ive been getting these too. now and again get sharp pain down below n have been getting cramps on and off which can be painful but nothing regular. gonna ask my midwife tomorrow xxx

Yeah, I get something like this too. He keeps hitting my cervix (which bloody hurts and stops me in my tracks) and sometimes it feels different when I walk - like more pressure there. Still free according to my MW this morning but I think he's trying/starting to engage!

Thanks ladies, I think he's moved even further down today as my hips are hurting and there's so much pressure in my back and I feel like I'm carrying a bowling ball :haha:

I see my consultant tomorrow so I spose I'll find out what he's doing in there!
