Well, it all started on the morning of December 9th at 2:00AM, I woke up and started to have contractions and they were coming every 7-8 minutes lasting 30-45 seconds. I kept getting up and down, and couldn't get comfortable for anything, taking trips back and forth to the bathroom.
So around 8AM or so my mom told me to just call the hospital and see what they think I should do. I called them and they told me to come in to labor & delivery. I get there and they hook me up, and by that time the contractions let off some, they checked me and I was only dilated at 1CM, they held me for an hour to check for any change, an hour goes by and I was still at 1CM, they told me to go home, that was around 1PM
I go home, and I lay on the couch, and the contractions INTENSIFY! They started to bring me to tears they were still around 6-7 minutes apart but lasting 2-3 minutes. I went to the bathroom, and I LOST MY MUCUS PLUG. I also felt like I was trickling a little, but was unsure... So at about 3:45PM I couldn't take it anymore and headed to the hospital, I couldn't hardly walk or talk it was too intense! My mom was trying to be careful as to not hit any bumps!
We get to the hospital and they put me in a room and check me, I was dilated to a 3 almost a 4 just within a few hours. They then admitted me, and then changed rooms, I was walking to the next room and thought I felt something wet, but was unsure.. the nurse walked in a little after and told me that I lost my water back in the other room, I said "OH!"
Within another 2 hours I was already dilated to a 6-7, so things were going fast they seemed. By 11PM I was already 9CM dilated and 100% effaced, and then about 1:30 I was 10CM, I pushed him out at 2:22AM
I was very excited when he came, I had the love and support of my mom, my sister and my cousin.
He weighted 6lbs 14 oz and was 20 inches long.
