She refuses food from a spoon

My LO in nearly one and is such a good eater only problem is she has to do everything herself. i think this is a good thing but she hasnt mastered using a spoon yet so this makes things like soup, custard etc very difficult and everything else VERY messy.

I dont mind mess but im running out of ideas.....

I would just let her have at it, best way to learn is practice She'll get better about it soon. Hayden is 2 now and eats completely by himself but sometimes if he's really hungry and having a hard time he'll now ask for me to help, so I get it on the spoon then hand him the spoon and he puts it in his mouth.
