I don't know if I should be worried or not.

She is on 5oz every 3 hours but I'm lucky to get a full bottle down her.

She has one feed in the night about 3.30 and takes the full 5oz, she then wakes up at 7 but doesn't want bottle till 8ish then she only takes 3oz. It's goes on like this all day, today she hasn't finished one bottle, her feed was due at 8pm and she won't have it.

She is a chubby baby and was 13lb 9 at her 8 week check.

She has her 12 week injections on Monday so I'm going to mention it, but I know they will say she is gaining weight so don't worry

I'd say don't worry about it, she sounds like she is doing fine. Some babies just don't eat as much as others - my LO has only really taken about 4 oz max since birth and she is 6 months old. Health visitor told me if she is staying around the same centile line then not to worry about it. She also said if a baby is draining their bottle, you should be making a bigger bottle - there should always be some left so you know she's had all she wants :flower:

I wouldn't be worried about it. My son was only on 3-4oz at that age. sounds normal to me.

my lo is like that every now and then, she went a week only drinkin a few ozs at each feedin, never finishin a bottle, went back to normal again it happened again a few days ago and today was the first day she finished three of her bottles, she wakes at 6am but never looks for a bottle till at least half seven

My daughter was like this for about a week and then i tried bigger teats. She went back to feeding normally again within a few hours and has been feeding fine eversince. Have you tried that?

she is taking what she wants, i used to worry like this too but there is no need she is not drinking more cause she is full up, my baby only used to drink 2 oz bottles in the night xx

what type of teats are you using, have you thought of trying bigger teats to see if that helps.

Either she isnt hungry for it, she is too distracted, or you need bigger size teats.

Jordan wont eat much anymore if she is too distracted so really only will drink a decent size bottle in a dark room with white noise and no distruptions.

She also had a time where she seemed to be annoyed with the bottles and that was when it was time to go up a size in teat.
