OK so max is almost 9 months now and has tried everything there is to try :) hes loving finger foods and learning to use his 3 new teeth ..

Now my question is last week he had some home made spaghetti sauce with pastas he loved it ..now even though salt isnt very good there was not much in there as I cant handle it well ..

Now tonight were having Sheppard's pie( potato, corn and ground beef )for supper and I will blend some up for him ..theres only salt in the potatoes but not very much ..is this okay for him to have ? what age did you all start to feed your LO's the same meal as you :dohh:

Not sure.... but I looove sheppards pie, it is my favorit meal!

well i asked my health visitor today and she said lucy can have everything now (apart from the obvious ie honey nuts etc) but personally i wouldnt add any extra salt to youe meals if baby is having it too.

if rileys eats what we eat i dont put no salt in

A little salt wont hurt him. This 'no salt' thing only started a few years ago. Most of us had salt in our diets as babies and here we are living and breathing. Just dont do it regularly.
