she's here! labor story

My daughter Hannah Elizabeth was born at 7:47 p.m. October 5th. She's 7lbs9oz. My waters broke before I had any contractions, so they had to give me pitocin. Had an epidural after breathing through three hours of strong contractions, but then I didn't feel a thing! Only took one and a half hours of pushing, which is not bad at all. Her head wasn't even misshapen.

I was so scared of labor, but ladies, mine wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Yes, I tore, but the pain isn't that bad. I really hope that you all have great labor experiences, too. It is totally worth it in the end!
