Just want a moan really

It started off on Sunday with an achy right leg, very sensitive to touch and didn't think anything of it. On Wednesday a rash appeared on my back and the pain from my leg spread up into my tummy and back, all on the right hand side. Went docs and was diagnosed with shingles.

I've been given tablets which are supposed to stop the rash spreading and getting worse but it has spread into my groin area and onto my leg. I'm in so much pain! It's like burning and someone is sticking pins in me so horrible

Anyone else had it?

I'm sorry, my cousin has it now. I'd google it, I'm googling it now. would hydrocortisone or anti itch cream containing benadryl not help the itchy rash? I'm sure you doc could prescribe a compounded cream or something for you, I know it is safe to take benadryl in pregnancy, could you not take that? I'm sorry, and keep us posted.
