Hey girls :flower:

I am struggling to decide on what style of shoes to have on my wedding (peep toe/courts/sandal) etc...
Any of you lovely ladies have any suggestions?

I think some gorgeous, elegant, pointed slingbacks would be gorgeous peeping out from under that dress :cloud9:

We get married in October, in Brighton, on the seafront where it will probably (and hopefully!) be blowing a gale and peeing down and my shoes sandals but they were perfect for my dress!

hiay honey!!!! your wedding sounds romantic and sooo cosy!!!!! I wish we were having a winter wedding, i regreted it as soon as i put a deposit down for a summer wedding but i had to think of my big family and the expense over xmas!!!

Well, have you looked at rainbow club or pink?

I would wear courts if i were you, with a small to medium heel (just incase you venture outside).

These look quite christmassy/ wintery (sorry i dont know your budget???)

hey hun! well i always thought i'd be getting married on a beach somewhere sunny and hot! so its odd that we chose a date at home and in december! but it just so happened we were viewing venues during winter and i fell in love with the whole idea of a winter wedding- the venue just looked like something out of a christmas card. our venue is in a rural area overlooking a river, snow covering the trees etc its stunning! i am going with the icy/crystals snowy theme everthing is white and sparkly lol
i have looked at a pair from pink in the classic section - spring i think they're called? they are round toed. (i am a bit wary of wearing pointed toes as i seem to catch them on everything!!) though i dont want to rule them out as i think with the detail on the dress and my hairpiece there will be enough glitz!
i couldn't see the links you sent honeybee can you attach pics or tell me the name of the shoe and i'll go and have another look on the website :)

I had a winter wedding, in the snow :) We were lucky it didn't snow that day as we were outside a bit.

Here are my shoes:

Hope that link works. They are peep toed and were soo comfortable. I've dyed them a different colour now.

I had some white snow boots on standby just in case the weather was bad.

hey pops thanks for the suggestions also!
congrats on the pregnancy your scan pics are great! good luck and fx for a sunny day in brighton for your wedding lol! :happydance:

hey faerie thanks i am hoping it is not snowing on the day and there is just a light covering on the ground outside. we booked the wedding 1 year exactly before the big day and it just looked lovely - so picturesque!
your outfit looks fab! i bet you looked like a total princess on the day i love your shoes!!! but woah they're high :haha: i'm not sure i could manage to teeter in those for the whole day :dohh: and im quite tall aswell (5ft 7in) so i dont want to be too tall!

good luck - i see you are pg also! :happydance:
