Today at our 18 week Level 2 ultrasound it showed that baby's leg bone was measuring 17w4d and her arm was measuring 16w5d. The leg isn't too far off but the arm is. Her head and body are measuring right on perfect. We had a CVS test done at 12 weeks (tested all chromosomes and DNA) and all came back normal (yay!).

I am not sure what to think. I'm a bit concerned but the Maternal Fetal Medicine Dr. was not worried at all and said they were within normal limits. He chalked it up to genetics and that she will probably be short like me. I am only 5' - my sisters are 4'10" and my mom is 5'2" and my dad is 5'6". So height is not on my side. :haha:

I'm not sure whether to really to be worried or not. I know I prolly shouldn't as all testing came back normal but I am a worrier by nature.

I wouldn't be too concerned if your professionals weren't. I'm sure my baby will be a shorty pants, too. :p

I agree with pp if they weren't worried then you probably don't need to be either. Having said that I know how much everybody does worry in pregnancy so can you get an appointment with a dr/midwife to talk through your worries? The extra stress won't do you any favours

At my private 18 week scan, her legs were measuring a week behind whereas her head was bang on date. At my 20 week scan, he wee legs had caught up!

at 19w3d my son was measuring (19w6d) 61st %tile all the way up to (20w6d)85 %ile EXCEPT his little femurs were at (18w3d) 21 %ile.

HUGE range bringing the average to 19w5d.

All is normal, chances are the measurements weren't completely accurate or the babies just growing at an individual rate!

I'm a sonographer Hun, those measurements are fine. We would worry if there was a two week difference or more in the third trimester only.
My little one measures a week behind over all. Me and my partner are both small so I think it's probably that :)
