OH and I are getting married in April and our little girl will be just 3 by then. We are currently looking at "honeymoon" options and really it comes down to 2 options:
- going for a "minimoon", 2 or 3 nights away. I think that's the maximum amount of time I could be without my LO, I've never been away for more than 1 night so far! It would have to be local then I guess, so maybe a nice hotel with SPA.
-going for a family holiday for a week, maybe in Portugal or Italy. It wouldn't really be a honeymoon then but I don't think I would be able to enjoy a week away from my LO. I would feel so guilty looking at all the kids having fun!
So really what I'm looking for is experience from anyone who has gone with or without their young kids on their honeymoon. Where did you go? Did you enjoy it? What you do/not do again?
